Noob needing some advice on taillights and 2020 grill

Noob needing some advice on taillights and 2020 grill
From what’s I have read I the 2020 is basically the same as my 2016 except for a few changes.
I was hoping to add a new 2020 grill as well as the 2017 all red sport taillights. When I go to order the taillights it says they won’t fit a 2016. Is that true?
the taillights numbers are
81560-WY30
81550-WY40
the grill I am ordering is
53101-60G30
thanks for all the help I just don’t want to order all these parts and I can put them on my 2016 GX.

there are quite a few threads existing on the 2020 grill swap, I would search the forum and you will find all the info you need
