If you love driving the GX, which I do, you will most likely not care for the RX, which I didnt. I have to say, it is noticeably quieter than the previous generation, but still not as quiet as the GX.
Same experience with the creaking its the unibody design.

Yep, but it better be a hell of a good redesign. I found it interesting bc he directly addresses some of the question in this post between innovation and reliability/Durability.

Just noticed on MY21 brochure, it has 36 PSI on display, hope that is not a mistake by marketing folks.

Looks like they had their pressures a little high that day, haha. Recommended pressures may vary globally too, but in Canada/USA, the recommended pressures are still 32psi for 2021.

I had GXs. before back in 2011 and getting back with 2021 which I have coming on 15th. Couple questions to members. I am getting the Premium
- If I am reading correctly looks like mine will come with regular silver wheels vs. 2020 Dark Grey Metallic. Seems backward move by Lexus. I don't even see an option to change the wheels to the nicer dark grey. Is this truly an option?
- I aww as well 19" wheel option with sport package. Looks nicer but any comments how much rougher the ride is?
- Does ML sound makes a lot of difference when listening to radio? We have 2020 Land Cruiser with JBL and personally I am not impressed until you play MP4, etc.
Thx

Did you have the ML or base stereo in your '11? I have a '13 with the base stereo and wish I had something better. But, of course, you can prob just bring a CD or two and play them in both stereos (assuming the dealership has a GX with each) to know for sure if it is worth it.

ML depends heavily on source input and persons hearing. Radio imho had no difference and same with any other compressed audio (including pandora or spotify).

For 2021, the dark grey wheels are available on the Premium Plus. Yeah it's a backward move consider it's standard on 2020 Premium.
The 19" rides a little bit stiffer but the main issue is the tire selection is VERY limited.

I have had ML in two different Lexus Models. GX and RX. Not much of difference in sound to me. I just purchased a 2020 GX instead of the 2021 for a couple of reasons. Rebate is 2k higher, dark wheels on premium and ML and power third row was not a requirement for me. Honestly, just my opinion but I don't think it is that much better at all.

Yes, I am. it was a lot a fun doing initial mods and write ups back in 2010. I have spent last few years on the Land Cruiser forum. Currently on my 2nd 2020 Land Cruiser. Recently bought my wife the 4Runner but it is not luxuries enough and as well lacks the V8. So jumping back with both feet and getting 2021 GX. Updates look great but is funny to see the same nav. I may have to find a good replacement of the unit with a tablet style.

Good that you jumped back in. 2022 might be the last model year for the GX with no replacement, although I cant imagine Lexus just dumping a model that sells 25k units annually, but it is their poor business decision to make. I'm still scratching my head as to what to do when my lease ends this coming Aug on my 2018. I'm not sure if I should keep it or roll the dice and see what BOF Lexus comes out with. Or maybe even Toyota. I dont see myself going back to a unibody Crossover after driving BOF trucks.

The same story with Land Cruiser. Only 3K sold each year in US. Rumor is that LC will be killed here and only LX will be available.
