Default Buying a rebuilt 2011 GX

Hello,

I was wondering if it is worth the discounted price to buy a 2011 Lexus GX Premium which has a rebuilt title status. It was in an accident, but repaired and passed a government body integrity inspection. The following items were repaired:
-front bumper
-radiator support
-left front door
-left quarter panel

Assuming that the repairs/replacements were done properly by a government (Saskatchewan Government Insurance) accredited autobody repair shop, is it worth the risk to purchase a vehicle like this? I appreciate any advice you might have, thanks.

PASS.
it's not like the GX is some kind of super rare vehicle. id certainly overlook a lot of other things first before i ever take on a rebuilt title.

I would say yes and no, if it passes an independent body shop PPI and it is one hell of a deal, buy it. But! keep in mind it will be hard to ever sell, most people just don't want a rebuilt title and never believe the "Story" that goes along with them. My Sister bought a theft recovered Mazda almost new, now she wants to sell it and she is getting little or no interest and the few vultures that circle, offer her $800 for a $4000 (if it had a clean title) car with less than 100k miles and 100% dealer service records.

Depends on your use case. If this is going to be your base to build your overlanding/offroad rig then who cares really (probably get into it at a lower price as well). However if this is gonna see any amount of onroad time with family and friends etc This aint the hill.... as they say. Plenty of GXes that have non rebuilt titles out there.
