It's not about practicality nor longevity. Having options is about essential and luxury, we buy luxury brand and pay for it to have it a certain way such that loaners are given when we get serviced.
We should have some or most of these features as basics, some can choose to use or not. however when enform allows it and we can't have it we sub runs out or have to sacrifice a key to make it work there's a loss.
Remember when these dumb luxury brands were against touch screens saying it was safety and after 10 years of touch phone they are finally beginning to adapt to all touch even the ffing climate buttons?
we just want fair equal treatment i guess haha just venting no arguments here

Totally fair point. I guess for me, I would rather have Toyota/Lexus maintain their stellar reputation for build quality and reliability versus potentially diluting their focus and resources on the next "shiny object" demanded by consumers who want it all, and want it all right now. I think Toyota/Lexus has proven that they know how, and more specifically when to introduce new(er) technology without compromise to their long standing reputation. For that, I am patient and more than willing to wait.
Started reading thru my owner's manual and came across the remote start booklet. Got excited as I like to install aftermarket alarms with remote start (usually Viper) on my vehicles. Went to the affectionately named "Toyoro" (Toyota + oro) and clicked away, but nothing happened 🤷🏽♂️ What am I missing?

which year of GX that you have? For 2016+ (maybe 2015), you will need the Lexus enforum subscription in order to have oem remote start to be functioning.
