Hey Everyone hoping someone can help me out please.

I just bought a 2016 Lexus GX460 Luxury with 50K miles on it. I've had it for 3 week now and I've loved it. But just had a mini heart attacked. I went to move it out of my driveway and I put it in Drive but the car wouldn't move....so I gave it some gas and the car felt like it was trying to go forward but something was stopping. So I put it in Park and then back and drive and tried again but it wouldn't budge when I gave it gas but I did hear a loud click noise....so I put it in reverse and then back in drive and it finally worked.

WTF happened anybody know?? Should I be worried the transmission is shot? or something is wrong. I should still be under the powertrain warranty that covers the transmission.

Anybody ever experience this?

Did you wash GX with parking brake set and perhaps move the next day?

I did wash the truck through a car wash 2 days ago and I've had it in my garage ever since.

do you think it has something to do with the parking brake? I very nervous it's the transmission. q
