Looking to customize my 2010 GX
I am interested in giving my 2010 GX a more overland appearance and performance. Have already added all terrain tires (Hankook) and a cage up top. WeatherTech floor mats front to back also. Any ideas out there for performance / appearance upgrades? I use the vehicle to tow a small camper trailer and travel to backpacking sites,
Thanks to all for the interesting discussions!

Here are a few modulations that you could start looking into

Here are a few modulations that you could start looking into
- Upgrade the lighting... SAE Driving or fog lights, LED Light bar, HID or LED low beams (properly aimed), and ditch lights
- You an also do a mild lift to go with your tire upgrade
- F-Sport front Grille
- Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select for off roading needs
- Kaon barn door shelf
- Canvasback liners
- Tint all the windows with ceramic film (and the windshield with a 70-80%)
- Remote start (OEM or from 12 volt solutions

Regarding clearance, you may want to remove/replace those, but most fire roads shouldn't be an issue. Or just run it until they fall off and replace with sliders later.

If you have Facebook, join GXOR group. Be careful those, that group has been known to suck many wallets dry. You will probably end up more stuffs you want on the GX than you need. LOL.

Thanks for the input. All good ideas. I had begun checking on a couple of these. In particular I plan to upgrade the grill and am considering a lift kit.

You'll probably change what you want to buy/add on to your vehicle a couple of times...I'd say start with some minor mods. It seems like there are new products coming out every month for the 460 platform.
I forgot to mention the other day about the 12v outlets for your passengers. If you take friends or family with you on your trips, they'll be grateful that they have a charger available to them.
What lift kit were you thinking about?
