Did the same thing to mine, for practical reasons: The OEM rails on the GX are useless.
Note to others: The 4Runner rails are asymmetrical; there is a left and right rail and they are not the same. Make sure to put them on the correct sides or the cross-bars won't go on.

Read through multiple pages and have had differing opinions on if they fit. They do fit. Fill this with Lexus or Toyota rubber roof gasket?
So for the three unused holes, just fill the holes with silicone correct? As for the channel that is left open between the two mounting points just buy there pieces of the Lexus roof moulding or can I use the 4runners one piece?
The GX has 3 mounting points for each rail, the 4Runner has 2. What is everyone doing with the empty set of holes and how are you preventing water intrusion?
