Yes bob is the man! I already saw his video, but thanks for the post. He uses the dongle and powers it from underneath the upper (sunroof holder/light) console. I was looking for a pin that can tap directly into the back of the mirror housing for my radar detector.

Check @6:30 of the video. He uses the mirror power, he only shoves the dongle up under the roof (and removes the sunglasses/roof module to make it easier to hide the adapter). He does not tap into the map lights at all. Removing that sunglass/map light module just makes it easier to shove the Dongar adapter under the roof liner.
That would give you switched power for your radar @7:58 of his video is where he's putting the Dongar adapter inline and providing his power to his camera (or in your situation a radar detector).
And if not using the Dongar adapter here are the pins/wires that provide 12v switched and ground. This is the plug behind the mirror when you take off the plastic covering.

Here is the power tapping from the mirror for prior GX from the mirror connector. The photo was not really good, but the switched power is pin#1 and ground pin#2. If you look at from the photo, they are on bottom row of the connector. I was using mirror tapping kit for the power.
The replacement Dongar adapter came in today and it's the right one! I installed it, tested it, and it works perfectly. No more visible USB cables for the dash cam. This was the easiest DIY I've ever done on any vehicle.
This week I picked up my '22 GX460 and I just wired an Escort Redline 360 into the overhead by tapping the mirror connector
It also appears the ES, and RC are very similar. I'm assuming the other models in the line are very similar as well
All Lexus/Toyota mirror connect harness have the same pin for power and ground (pin#1 for power and pin#2 for ground). I have used mirror tapping before for my RL360C, then I added Escort ZR5 laser shifter, which provides the power and control for RL360C. I am using Blendmount for the RL360C as well.
EDIT: I looked through the reviews and it seems GX owners have used the one you linked to with no issues. Sweet.
I used if for my dash cam.
Only difference is that I did not use the USB power, but the gnd, switched power and additionally the constant power from pin 7 if I recall correct (pink/white in oem plug). This enables parking recording. Dash-cam is set to power off if battery get below 12vdc to ensure car can start.
I can open and verify pin # if anyone needs the info
Thanks to @hzhao and @bowhun2r for very useful information!
Looks like Dongar's 10 pin adapters are out of stock forever, so I made a pigtail for 12V myself. If someone need OEM connectors part numbers: 6098-3909 Sumitomo TS series (Female) and 6098-3869 Sumitomo TS series (Male), pins are selling separatly. I bought a knockoff kit male+female+pins on aliexpress and in-line fuse from Littelfuse. It's impossible to crimp pins reliably without special die, I soldered all pins.
