FYI I just bought the 2020+ version (since the other plug for the Lexus is out of stock) of the 4 runner plug to use on the 2023 gx 460 and it was plug and play. https://dongar.tech/products/2020-4runner

Amazed at the level of detail and proficiency shown in many of the replies. Also the time and effort people take to share them, without recompense. Kudos to you all!
Can’t help but wonder why Lexus doesn’t simply place two small holes on the back of the mirror for +/- 12V output, then take the same tap kit they could probably buy for 50¢, label it "Lexus Certified", sell it for $28.95, and make everyone happy?

I have found that this tool with the hook at the end is a better option to remove the cover piece since it's much easier to get up into the cover to unclip the upper portion. This is from the Rigor Non marring pick and pry bar set (6 pieces). I show the other tool as that is what I needed to hold all the "guts" in place above the mirror mount when clipping the smaller cover piece back in place.

The rain sensor also has 12V supply. It powers on with ignition and powers off when the ignition is off, if that works for you guys. I have it wire tapped for radar detector power. Much easier to remove the rain sensor cover, and tap the harness.
