Default 2010 Bluetooth Problems

I have a 2010 GX460 that the radio was possesed in. It would cycle through all the modes and shut off and such. So i got a 2013 head unit off ebay. So far no shuffling but im haveing some bluetooth issues. My wife has an iphone 12 and it is paired. When she is playin off apple music it will stop playing audio yet the track is still showing playing via the seconds. It will revert back a couple seconds and do it all over again. Pretty annoying. Ive already "forgot" both the phone and the lexus and repaired. It still did it after that. I have not troubleshot yet by adding my phone and trying it. Any thoughts?

Don’t have an answer to the BT issue but want to say that
I also have the cycling through all modes issue once in a while and it also spits out the cd.
It usually happens when the weather is warm.

mine started out only when hot outside then moved to when it was cold also. i will much rather give up teh blue tooth for a radio that stays on. the radio does not get any better and only declines with the cycling. mine would try and spit out cds also. lexus said they could not duplicate and it would do it as i was driving home from teh dealer. i guess they should have left it in the bay to heat up nicly.

Is the BT only happening with Apple Music? Do you have any other songs on the phone that can play and check? How about Youtube? Can you play it via youtube or other radio apps? Are you on IOS 15 by chance?

Default ML crazy radio problems

$9,000 is absurd for the radio. I don't know why this system is so different than the older ML system in the 470. The 470 system was the best OEM sound systems I've ever heard. Deep rich base w/o being muddy and the high's her not tinny....I find the new 460 ML upgrade laughable. Its void of any depth at all, especially when you use satellite. Plus the sound seems so concentrated in the front center. Ive never heard the base sound system, but hate to hear what thats like.
I have a 2010 IS350c. had the same problems with the radio going crazy. Switching modes, volume, CD drive inserting discs etc. I did a check as mentioned earlier using the diagnosis tool and found out that the USB port was erroring out. Once I disconnected my lightening connector, and cleared the error, it was fixed!

Default 2010 GX460 - BT hangs up after dialing

Hey folks, just wondering if anyone else had this issue - when using SIRI to voice dial, it will call out, link to bluetooth in the GX, and then immediately hang up.

Do you have other BT devices to test against? Portable speakers? Headphones or earphones? As far as I know, BT doesn't send signals to devices like 'hang up'. For example, if a device were to be disconnected via BT, the music or call resumes on the phone or pauses, depending on the behavior set for a particular app or OS for such an event. I would check your phone's settings first like for BT or if using Android Auto, then AA's settings, or try to replicate the issue with another BT device.

Check the Bluetooth section of your phone, should display Car Multimedia. If is shows Car Accessory you must delete and repair.

Same here with 2011. My iPhone is only a year old and updated but if for example I say Siri call home it initiates the call shows up on Nav screen and then disconnects. Kind of frustrating

Default Audio Off on 2011 GX460

Have no audio on 2011 GX460. Checked fuses, no issues there. Could power/volume button be bad? Thoughts welcome.

The mode button on steering wheel duplicates as an ON/OFF button. hold and see if that works..then you might know if it is the radio ****.

Pressing and holding the VOL.PWR button for about 20-30 sec does a hard reset to infotainment. Try that as well

Have tried pressing the mode button on steering wheel with no result. Also have pressed and held power/vol button for 30 seconds with no result. In both cases audio display just has "audio off" message.
