Agree.. I haven't heard of any common 1UR-FE issues related to timing chains (really can't remember any reports either) . Some engines from other automakers aren't so lucky. It seems like defective guides are common in some engines.

BMW plastic guides and high temps=chain stretch.

Agree - seems like you could get a 2012/2013 with 80k to 100k less miles on it for this price.

I agree with too many miles for that price. It may register as a decent deal with KBB or other valuation sites but in terms of real life, it would need to be overwhelmingly underpriced to take a chance with that mileage, like $15k would be worth the risk IMO.

once again the GX amazes me at its resale value and its considerations at such high mileage..

I personally typically will never buy a car at 100k.. always feel safer with atleast a yr of warranty left

GX470 has a decent thing going for it, the 2UZ-FE is said to go to 300kmi when quality motor oil is used.

I am at 225kmi now, and 300k looks promising, as soon as I get the darn thing started again, lol

GX460 should be the "same boat".
