I’ll do it; I’ve got aftermarket wheels and the display is annoying! U da man!
UPDATE: So easy!!! Thank you my brother; hated that damn light... now if you could only tell me how to get rid of the “ECO” light?!
Eco light on/off is done via the steering wheel controls. Hit the menu button on the right side of the wheel (little 2 square boxes). Scroll up/down until you find eco. Press enter and select off.

Hello there I have tried to do this mod . I got to the red and yellow wire and just looped them at the module instead of the soldering . But now as I have the the other end wires that are just cut and sitting there which assume go the cluster or something . I just want this off and and not blinking. I can try and upload pics to explain or just reconnect the wires as normal and solder the TPM unit like above
Hopefully this is the answer that brought me here. A couple of days ago my TPMS light came on soon after I rotated my tires. All of the tires including the spare are set to 35psi so that should rule that out. The light blinks for 1 min then stays on, According to the manual I suspect a failure somewhere. I may try the solder method mentioned but just for clarification this "defeat" won't cause another fault?
One of your TPMS transmitter batteries may be low/dead. All this mod does is disable the TPMS dash light; it doesn't cause any other faults. I did the solder mod during the summer and its been working fine ever since.
Personally I think they are a pain in the you know what...My mechanic uses his ODE2 and get's different pressure readings as opposed to hand held pressure testers. He told me even expensive testers are not very consistent. So I manually check my tire pressure it gives me a true sense of what my tires are doing specially when you have two sets of tires for summer and winter use. My light would go off when a tire would lose pressure for 3 to 5 lbs (Very slow leak) which on a 225/40R-17 tire can be lost by simply releasing air from the valve for a couple of seconds, nowhere near affecting the handling of the car to be noticeable. So like checking the oil, the windshield wash etc I check my tire pressure. Simple and always reliable don't get me wrong I love my IS it's a safety thing I get it but there is something to be said about over kill...
Disabling TPMS on a 460 seems more difficult than on 470 (Which only required splicing a wire a grounding it). Has anyone successfully disabled their TPMS?
I successfully disabled mine today by connecting a wire between pin 5 & 6.
Note that on my 2017 premium, the pink and yellow wires were pin 4&5. Pin 6 was red. I tried connecting the yellow and pink at first because of a video on YouTube but unfortunately that did not work. The red(pin 6) and yellow (pin 5) just needs to be connected.
My reason for disabling is to fit a 265/70 R17 All terrain tire in the spare location. It fits but tire pressure is at 10 psi. I have an onboard air so that’s OK.

Which tire is that? I am tire shopping now for that size and want it to fit underneath.
BTW once you wear them down a bit they might fit without lowering pressure.
On my 2004 GX, I cut the blue wire, ran the wire from the floor side to the center terminal on a spdt toggle switch, ran one wire from the switch back to the terminal block, and the other to ground. It works perfectly and I can switch the TPMS on or off depending on what I want to do.
