Trac light came on and won't turn off
2013 GX460. Driving home on the highway, noticed the light came on. The one with the squiggly lines under the truck. Drives fine. Seems like everything is okay except for the light. Tried the button, stopping the car, turning it off, put it in reverse, turned on 4-LO, turned off 4-LO, and locked, unlocked the diff. I don't have a code reader at hand. Is it safe to drive till I get it sorted? Any ideas? Appreciate it.

Finally found something from oldmanb777, embarrassed that I didn't find it sooner. Something about the gas cap loose/tight that sets off the Trac light. She had just filled it up. I opened the cap and put it back on. Light hasn't gone out yet. Ran it around the block with an on/off. Still drives as usual. Maybe it needs a few more cycles.

take it to autozone and get the code read if the issue persists.

I found my cheap readers and neither found any fault. I tried the OBD auto doctor using the elm327 and ultragauge. Maybe it's a fault they are not sophisticated enough to read?

The software I mentioned above can read the extended Toyota/Lexus codes like Toyota Techstream. It is a paid add-on to OBD Fusion but included with OBD Link as they include all vehicles with the adapter they sell.
Basic OBD wont' traverse all the different ECUs in vehicle.
