Default Illuminated overhead sunroof buttons?

Hey guys,

I've just realized that the buttons for open/close/tilt sunroof are not illuminated at night in my 2020. Also the memory seat buttons are not either ( I pressed the wrong one a couple of time and it ended up saving the wrong seat settings LOL)

Is it normal on the GX? Just want to make sure they didn't forget to put in a fuse at delivery :P

That button will not solve the symptom the OP is reporting.

@WRD4chano yeah, that button only controls the brightness of the ODO.

I am asking specifically the sunroof and memory seat buttons. Are yours illuminated at night or not?

You are correct. The sunroof and memory buttons are not illuminated.

Thanks man!

Have you come up with any hack yet? :P

The memory seat buttons are the one I wanted most. I know I know, I can program the key to the settings but but ...

Haven’t thought about the needs to hack them, nor it is practical. For illumination, it will need the button had space behind it to host LED and most difficult to have the transparent marking rather solid paint marks as it is now. One option that you could consider (if that is something you had to have), is to tap a small hole in adjacent area to host a LED and wire into the windows/door lock switch panel backlights, and do the same on sunroof switch area, and wire it into top accent LED.
