I've been meaning to post a follow up for awhile now - the ***-o-meter feels like there are a few more hp's as the ECU probably trimmed out some more fuel the longer my wife has been driving with the y-pipe in. Also, the prior MPG on the truck was always 17.9 (with my wife driving), it's routinely now 18.8 or 18.9, ~5% increase (according to the dash), which is pretty good, all things considered.

I will likely try to dyno it again to see what the stock ECU managed to do with the long term fuel trims...

Yes thanks! Excited to see another dyno and if ECU learning has helped any.

I'm probably repeating my self, but I'd really love to see a combo of this and the OV Tune. Still amazes me other trims of this engine make so much more HP, though also have higher redlines, so I suspect it's to help elongate expected useful life of the powertrain given the potential for towing application in our case, unlike other applications of the engine with more power.

Would the over rich programming be there for poor fuel quality situations?

IE Dump more fuel to not lean out?
