265/65R18 BFG KO2s rubbed *entire fender guard off* wheel well – best fix?
2 years ago I did my research and determined that 265/65R18 BFG KO2s should fit my 2015 GX460 (base model, pictured below) without rubbing. References here:
I'm confused, because most people on this forum with the same tires and stock suspension/wheels have no rubbing.
I'm going to have the dealership install the missing front fender apron seals. What is the best solution for the tire rubbing?

- Spidertrax 1.25" spacers?
- Bolt and cable tie mod?
- Anything else?

Not the tires. The rubber itself did the self destruct, same thing happened to my 2015 with the same color.
Do not replace with OEM parts, search for my post ( on mobile at the moment, sorry) for the after market part I bought.

that's the tool I used but you honestly don't need a special tool to pull the plugs out, just get some leverage behind one side and lift it up... some needle noze pliers and they'll pull out. that tool or a plastic trim tool from harbor freight makes it easier, but it's not required.

Did you do the install yourself?
If so, did you need any tools other than a fastener removal tool (as mentioned in the instructions)?
I'm thinking about ordering this one: https://www.amazon.com/QMET-Plastic-...5297093&sr=8-8

Fender apron / seals
On our 2010 gx, the seals are still in good shape, but I previously replaced the same parts on our 2004 gx470 with ones I cut out of EPDM rubber roofing. Those fender apron seals are basically identical on the gen1 and gen2 GX's. EPDM lasts nearly forever! I used the old ones that were shredding as a template and cut the EPDM scrap pieces I had in the shop with just a razor blade. I think I replaced them on the 2004 in about 2008! They are still perfect 12 years later.
Cost = $0.00. I had EPDM scraps in the garage.
