It's referring to other testing it outperforms, like extreme cold.

Feel free to disagree, but this is not the only source I've heard this. Multiple car battery retailers told me the same thing when I wanted to buy a sealed battery.

"In some cases, owners can replace an AGM battery with a flooded one to boost longevity in hot climates"

That's pretty definitive.

Considering their contradictions it more proves CR's is kinda BS

Why don't you provide a source then?

Seems more like a reading comprehension problem on your part.

I don't care at all, just funny to me how you're so opinionated about batteries you aren't going to get... you do you man.

You're the one that insisted on a "source" like a web forum is a term paper. Then continued to argue when proven wrong after a source was provided.
Seems like your the one that has strong opinions on this.

You made a claim with no support then proceeded to link to an article that contradicted itself.... TRIGGERED much? HAHA

It's well known AGM batteries are poor performers in hot weather. Cold temps they work great and last longer.

Optima used to be great when it was an independent company, but garbage now that they were bought out by Johnson Control.
