To bad the GX didn't get the extra 79 HP from the LS... that and the ML sound like the early LS460's had. The LS feels several notches up from the GX. Different animals I know. Maybe the LX feels more like the LS?
At any rate, I'm happy with both!

Yes, we have 2 GXs. My wife drives a silver 2016 Luxury and I drive the 2010 base. Couldn't be happier after trading in our 2015 Subaru Outback for the 2016. Still need to get those autozone looking tail lights covered or replaced with the classic red like my 2010.

When you drive them, do you notice any difference between the two of them? For example, break feel, smoothness, how the stereo sounds (ML vs Base), road noise, quality of the seats ... Or is all really basically the same.

Yes, I liked my wife’s so much I bought one for myself. So much quieter and smoother than my F150 Platinum 4x4 was.

CFAI,
I personally don't notice any significant differences. I think the heated seats in my 10' are warmer than the ones in the 16'. That's probably because my seats are more broken in. Since mine is a base and hers is a Lux, there will be differences in sound and things like that. But in regards to seats and driveability, they are the same to me. Transmissions in both are smooth as butter and same road noise in both. We both have roof racks on them now so there is a bit more wind noise and the brakes feel the same in my opinion. I dont think you could go wrong with the old body or the 14+. Just matters if the PO took care of it. Stick to your price point and check the maintenance records and I'm sure you will be a very happy camper.
