Default 2017 GX Ridge Grappler sizing advice Advice

I have a 2017 GX and want to put Ridge grapplers on the stock 18” rims. I’ve heard 265/65/18 are a good size. But can I go bigger? 275/70/18 295/70/18 295/65/18 275/65/18?
i realize at some point they may need to be trimming as to not rub?
what is the biggest with no mods?
What is the biggest with trimming?
Thanks you everyone!

Anything beyond 265/65-18 will require a body-mount-chop ... with the 265-65-18 having minor rubbing on occasion, specifically when going in reverse while turning close to full-lock, but can be easily addressed as discussed in other forum posts. I was a forever BFG fan, but have switched to Nitto's and will never look back ... incredible tires.

Thank you! I’m thinking 265/66/18 are the way to go. Just curious How do other address the minor rubbing? Trimming?

If you want 265/65/18 and absolutely no chance of rubbing, get KO2. They run a bit smaller than other brands in the same size.

Not sure if it matters but I’ve gone with 265/70/17 Ridge Grapplers and they only rubbed against the mud guard bolt head. Once I took off my runningboards the rubbing went away.

Fantastic tires. Both our 470 and 460 have the same wheels and tires. No rubbing on the 470 at all.

265/65-18 and 265/70-17 have the exact same diameter ... identical from a clearance standpoint.

Ahh ok thanks. I’ll stick with the 265/65/18 route.
