I have been looking into a mild lift for the GX for a long time and there seems to be a pretty wide variety of lift kits available, however, I have not seen any spacers specifically designed for the GX460. I see tons of these spacers designed for the 5th gen 4runner. Is anyone running these spacers on their GX460? Can anyone comment on the benefits and disadvantages of spacers vs. an actual set of coils and shocks? Are there any brands or types of spacers that are more reputable than others for the gx460? I am a relative noob and would appreciate anyone who is willing to enlighten me. Thanks for any responses.

I haven't seen anyone else that has used a spacer like this on a GX460, but I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work either, unless the e-adj shocks create issues for some reason?

There are a few, I think here and on FB group, that ran spacer on the front and tricked the back height sensor to raise it a bit.
Spacers usually result in a harsher ride (bouncier) but maybe the GX springs were a bit soft so this actually helped?

Cornfed has 2 styles of spacers, the 1" is a 1/2" spacer that mounts ABOVE the strut assembly, so no disassembling the coil/shock assembly required, this should not result in an increase of spring rate, just bring the nose up a bit. The larger sized spacers do required disassembling the shock assembly, and would result in an increased pre-load of the spring, and are likely to affect ride quality as a result, for the better or worse I can't say.
