Default KO2 on stock 18”

Anyone run KO2 on stock18”s? 265/65/18 only come in Load E. Wondering if it will be to harsh of a ride for the rig. Other option is get some 17” rims and run 265/70/17 that come in a Load C. But I’d really just like to buy a set of tires for the stock 18”s.

Yes, that is exactly what I have. I had to lift it a tad to make sure that it did not rub when slowing and turning or when hitting a bump and turning. I like a vehicle that sits higher so it wasn’t really necessary to do this - a 1” on the front would have done the job just fine. I plasti-dipped the wheels in anthracite color to give it the look I wanted.

I have two of these, a 2017 GX with Luxury, Premium and fully stock plus this one. I do not notice the tires at all - they are quiet. I had K02s on a 2015 Tahoe PPV 4x4 before I got these and was very hesitant to get them. Love them though - plenty of grip, not harsh and a great tire.

Any rubbing on the stock height with 265/66/18s?

Only when braking and turning while hitting a bump while turning. If you want to avoid that, put a 1/2 or 1” level on the front.

OK Thanks. I’m wondering how harsh the rise will be on stock suspension and rims?

Seems the same to me. I drive my wife’s 17 GX on occasion. Can’t tell the difference.

I added a Cornfed 1" front spacer to our '15 4Runner Ltd., so similar truck. The difference was it rode nicer with the chin up higher, more like a truck. And it didn't nose dive under braking nearly as bad either, which was really nice!

The cornfed 1" spacer is installed above the strut assembly, so you don't need to disassemble, just lower the strut assembly, slip the spacer in, and reassemble. This was key on the Limited as it has XREAS shocks with hydraulic lines connecting the system.
