Anyone else received a gift of sorts while taking delivery of their GX? For example, our dealership threw in a compact umbrella the day we picked up the GX which was a nice gesture. I'm uncertain if it's customary but figured I ask to see what others may have received.
I got bottles of water, and a couple swanky keychains I'll never use. Newport Beach Lexus is pretty swanky. When I go in for service I make sure to take advantage of the free espresso bar and putting green. Oh, and the towels in their men's room are like large washcloths with the Lexus Logo on them. I make sure to grab a bunch to keep in my GX!

Yeah, mine came with with two leather fob covers which I tried and didn't care for either. I guess the freebies are not what they use to be when buying new cars. Although technically, I paid for the fob covers as part of the 'package' with the cargo net and wheel locks but I digress.
They usually give me chocolates when bending me over for parts purchases, so that's nice I guess.
I'm early enough in my ownership that I have yet to experience the Lexus 'tax'. However, I've seen this with one of my vehicles as well so it's not completely a surprise.

No kidding, and it would be a bit comical if that portrait included the GX. In fact, we had our picture taking with our GX before leaving so they could use it to promote the dealership/salesperson via a review.

For my 2021 GX 460, Eskridge Lexus of Oklahoma City presented my keys in a fancy box, which came with two keychains, the key fobs in the OEM leather/leatherette sleeves, and a fancy pen.
About 4 years ago Subaru sent me a nice Dyson cordless vacuum with the purchase of a 6 cylinder Outback. Still use it often to this day. The vacuum that is... Lexus needs to step up their game 😅
Eskridge Lexus of OKC gave me the key chains and pens and a couple of other things. The best part was they overnighted fresh cookies to my house-baked by their offsite kitchen.
