Hello, I got my 2019 GX460 about two weeks ago. I had it in the dealer for service yesterday because I thought there was a strange noise, but they've assured me all is normal. I go to start it this morning and the car immediately starts at superhigh RPMS, about 6k. I shut it off and tried again. Same thing. Anyone have an experience like this?

I'd call the dealer and maybe tow it to them if it still does it.
What service did you have it done?

Not normal, even in freezing cold temperatures. Needs to be checked out.

Only service was a basic inspection of a noise I thought I was hearing. They didn't find anything and said it was all normal. I drove it around in the afternoon and all was working well. Then this morning, it went straight to high RPMs.

Definitely never had that happen, if you can, try and get it on video so the dealer can see the problem.

Also if possible, unplug the battery for a few min to reset everything see if it helps.
but yeah get it on video if you can

Don’t take this the wrong way... this is probably the best way to start troubleshooting.

Check your floor mats and gas pedal
Did you add an aftermarket throttle unit like a pedal commander?

What strange noise did you hear (location or tone)?
