Default Hub covers for Rear Axle

I just got my new wheels and tires installed. I'm running Tandem 612s. I'm loving the new look, but as you can see below, I've got rust outside the hubs on the rear axle.

Are there hub covers for the rear similar to what is on the front IFS axle?

If not, I'm going to need to treat and paint them.

Here's the front, with hub covers.

I just got those same wheels on my GX470, they come with covers...you don't want to use them I assume?

I painted the hub ends with rust convertor product, and then frame paint similar to POR15, I recommend a low-gloss finish as the high gloss is VERY shiny and looks strange as a result.

Now those are awesome wheels ... very nice ... attitude while being sophisticated. Looks like you are not running a lift ... do you have any rubbing in the front ?

Yes, they are the 612 Charlies, but I prefer the look with the lug nuts showing. Thanks for the heads up on the paint recommendations. I was considering gloss, but think you're right about it being too much shine. Especially with matte finish wheels.

ASE, you are correct. No lift. I want to see how it does on the trails that I frequent before deciding whether or not to lift. It was plenty capable before, I just scratch up the front lip and running boards a bit.

With the 31.6" diameter (265/70/17) tire and -12 offset/8.5" wide wheels, there is some minor rubbing behind the front tires when turning. I replaced one screw on each side with a lower profile screw and pushed back the wheel liner and running board a bit after heating with a heat gun.

No more rubbing after the changes. We'll see if that holds under articulation out on the trails!
