No, I am running fully stock cause I use the vehicle for 99% highway driving and road trips. I would first get AT tires than getting a mild lift on the stock suspension.

Great write up. Just did my front shocks not too long ago, went with KYB excel-G from rock auto. It is a little firmer, but yet to see if it is just because they are new.

looking at the same thing.
upgrade shocks (mainly due to a thumb sound which my shop think is the shocks..)
would be nice to do a small lift with airbags

I'm wondering if the adjustable shocks would be a decent choice for minimal lift/spacer lift. Now that I have a month in the vehicle I leave it on "sport" but feel the marshmallow effect. Want to replace and read that these were slightly stiffer.
Are they stiffer in every setting? Is that just due to being new?

Swapping in Billy's would leave a useless switch.

Anyone else actually do the adjustables and feel each setting?

Could not agree more ... the stock AVS shocks are abysmal ... your description of "marshmallow" is perfect, and this is in Sport Mode !#! ... could not agree more ... buy Bilstein 5100's ... HUGE improvement.

You could install a replacement switch with Crawl.

FYI, the rear adjustable KYBs as mentioned by the OP are currently out of stock at PartSouq and have been like that for awhile now. Hopefully they restock soon because they seem to be the vendor who sells them.

You may want to see if Carmarka can source them as well

Has anyone tried the LUFTMEISTER 48510-60190 Magnetic Front Shock absorber, 48530-69535 Magnetic Rear shock absorber for GX460 showing on Amazon?
I see some have used these for the 470 and now they look available for the 460.
I might try it with a spacer up front and airbag trick. Maintain all the features with a small lift for occasional offroad

Any experiences?
One reviewer on Amazon said they were KYB branded when received

No personal experience, but it seems they are Chinese knockoffs. The KYB shocks are made in Japan.

Please give a before and after review of them and the various setting feelings.
If you take a short video of compressing and watching rebound of the new and the old that can be very helpful too. I have my stock rears on a shelf and am wondering how new would compare to 160k

Hi guys so i considering installing a lift from iron man 4x4 but wondering how will this go because their coil-overs dont have this feature, so i where to install them that will leave the sensor (motor) on top of the coils just sitting there and a bunch off useless switches inside ? and also will this dont interfering whit the main computer i mean i will still be able to drive whit out the computer flashing the check engine light or worst going into limp mode or some weir Toyota safety mode to take you back to the dealer ?

Theres only wiring pigtails left hanging from the vehicle. I had to destroy the adjuster modules on the top of the front shocks when I uninstalled. The only switch that wont work is the shock switch in the console and there are no warning lights. Easy
