I reached out to Lexus corp today, wondering where my illuminated door sills are.
They could not provide an answer and had me reach out to my dealer.

I’ll request but my guess it’s carry over from 21MY.
From what Lexus Corp told me, I shouldn’t even have them.
They blew me off and referred me to my dealer.

Thanks for the pictures! I can't wait for mine to get here!

It's supposed to get to Long Beach on the 18th but it sounds like they are backed up 4-8 weeks though so I'll be lucky to get it by November

Wow $4k for a what is essentially a really really really nice paint job. I would be so afraid to scratch that up, its such a beauty. Why they dont offer this on the regular model is beyond me.

The green paint and the removal of all bright chrome (well....99% of it) both inside and out is why I'm getting the Black Line and caused me to go with it over another 4Runner as I really don't like chrome.

They'll probably start offering the Nori Green on other trims next year if I had to guess. I think it'd look weird though with a ton of bright chrome but that may just be me.

Having said that though if something happens and I don't get mine I'll just get a Premium in Nebula Gray and add the Premium Plus package to it for the better sound system.

Agree. Also the '10-'13 approach angles (I think '28 and '25 vs '14+ '21 and '23) are at least consistent with being able to use the built in mechanical off road capabilities. Seems like on the other end of the sports design package, which I believe makes off pavement even worse, there should be the 'Gentleman Farmer' package, that has all of Luxury's options of crawl, surround cams etc. plus better approach/departure angles.

How's the new infotainment? Is it smooth and responsive? I mean anything over the new one is considered an improvement.

I haven’t had much time with new infotainment but much better response than my 19 RDX.

I didn’t have much experience when test driving 21MY to reference to, although it’s graphics were close to my previous 2007 IS 250.

Regarding remote touch pad, it is too responsive and
had to dial back the sensitivity in settings.

Looks gorgeous but damn $4k markup. I would be tempted at MSRP but essentially what used to be $3k-4k off last year and now I'm paying +$4k, that's almost 8k difference.
Ugh looks like have to wait for GX550

You math confuses me. The Black Line Edition package is $4K, however any other increase is because of a ****ty dealership "market adjustment".

If you don't want the Black Line then the Premium starts at $55K and if you think pricing will go down for the GX550 then you aren't living in reality imo.

Sorry wrote too fast

so GX460 used to have 3-4k off MSRP before this supply chain disruption. And now local dealers are asking +4k for same 2021 GX. So to me same GX is now costing me 8k more+tax.
Black line to me is worth the MSPR, so to me it costs 4k more than last year but that's fine given new infotainment and the color.
Now Gx550 would for sure be more or same and that's fine but at least I will have the new 3rd gen GX.
Hope this makes sense

Agreed. It's a really slick package and Lexus has done a great job. These will surely fly off the lots, and hopefully leave more of the regular models for the rest of us

I would prefer to spend $4k to get the ML studio rather than black line package. The black line package doesn't make any sense to me if it's not Green exterior color
