Nice! I have the same color Black Line on-order and it's supposed to arrive at the port this weekend. How were you able to track progress via the app?

You add it and then once you see mileage and fuel, start the service trials and then call Lexus and activate Remote Connect and get the 6-digit code. I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to but they let me.

ETA: It may be a couple of months still for yours depending on which port yours is going through as mine sat at Long Beach for 2 months.

Here's the new addition and I'm loving it so far!

15.8 mpg over 160 miles with 35-45 mph winds the whole way.

2 months?? Wow. I’m in Atlanta so it’s being shipped to the Jacksonville port. We were told to expect it around the end of November. Guess we will see.

Jacksonville isn't nearly as backed up. Once you see the fuel level and odometer reading pop up it should be at the railhead ready to get on the train.

Once the tire pressures drop down to 32-38 PSI the PDI is done at the dealership.

I hope yours arrive faster than mine did!

It's a great vehicle though. I did notice a weird click with the driver's seat when moving mine the full travel and figured out it's a little plug in the rail that's catching so when I take it in for the first service I'll see if they can replace it as it seems to have been made slightly off. It's not a big deal.

Everything else appears to be perfect and I have zero regrets buying it.

If they want to put tire black on tell them no! That ***** gets everywhere on the body when it flings off at speed...ask me how I know :-( They'd already put it on before I found out they were doing it.

You can also play a movie on the infotainment screen through the Lexus media player while driving LOL.

I just got an email from the dealership saying it will arrive Friday or Saturday next week.

And I concur on the tire shine. That stuff can actually stain paint if they use the cheap stuff (most do). I purchased a new pearl white car back in 2016 and they put a ton of tire shine on it. A week or two later I went to wash the car and discovered yellow spots on the paint everywhere the tire shine had landed. There was no way to fix it and the dealership refused to help.

Does anyone have a Black Line Edition with the OEM tow hitch?

I'm hoping there's no cutting required on the GX to add it like on my wife's RAV4 but I can't seem to find any pictures of one installed.

I would say yes, anyway removing the old hitch and if it does not fit, sell it online.

at dealer

The Lexus App showed 2 miles on Dec 1st and my AE just sent me the photo on the 2nd. Now.... off for Xpel and ceramic and delivery next week. The truck is listed on their website and he's told me he's had over 10 offers on the truck. Pretty excited as I have a basement full of mods in-waiting.

11/1 deposit made. Dealer (awesome) was able to secure one with minimal dealer add-ons (door edge guards...which I like). 12/2 delivered to dealer. Goes to the detailer for xpel and ceramic before I pick it up (bout a 2.5 hour drive). Stoked. And BlackFriday was a busy day for me!

MSRP. First time I did that.. .but zero dealer mark-up. I've purchased the boss/wife's GX from this dealership. Anyone in PA they are Bobby Rahal Lexus (central PA) and my rep is Jason. It's hard to find good dealerships. Harder to find good AEs... so when I do run across them I keep them and recommend them.
