Configuration Question
What is the difference between a GX 460 Premium, and a GX 460 with the "Premium Package"? The spec sheet from the dealer and the window sticker on my new GX don't say anything about it being premium but it does show it as equipped with Premium Plus Package with Captain's Chairs. It also has a wood and leather steering wheel which is shown as a stand alone option for premium but not for the base (yet I have it).
thanks!
thanks!

Yes, I think that screen shot is from the brochure? The option says the "Wood-and-leather trimmed heated steering wheel (GX Premium)" Unlike, say, the headlamp washers, which are listed as stand alone options for the "GX, GX Premium." The website (as shown below) also specifically lists the wood/leather steering wheel as an option for the premium but not the base GX. Clearly, if I am reading that right, it's not correct. Or I actually have a premium but how would I know? I thought maybe there was some other difference in trim pieces or something else where I would be able to tell.

Do you know if we can order a 23 nori green GX? Also wondering what packages/options are available, if any? I am talking myself into a GX and do like the nori green, but would prefer power 3rd row if possible, thanks for all the great info!

On the Lexus site, all of the MY’23 GX info is up. The 22 Black Line didn’t have options/packages to chose from, except exterior color. The rest is all standard. Including- no Mark Levinston, or power third row. And no captain’s chairs for the second row, or leather color.

‘23 Lexus GX Options. A cargo cover, and roof racks are your two “options”, ha! I am right there with you. Jumping to this just for the black line looks of the BL, and the Nori Green. They addd panoramic view, and multi-terrain monitor to the ‘23 GX Blackline, and changed the tail lights (Not my fave, but can be fixed...), and one color for the seats instead of two tone. Otherwise it is the same as ‘22 GX460 BL.

Well, I guess pano view and multi terrain monitor is something neat, only available with offroad package on luxury trim.
Can you install the crimson tail lights? I kinda dislike the clear early 2000s Toyota style tail lights haha

The 2023 Black Line Edition is supposedly going to have MTM.

Right, that's what I meant, you can only get MTM if you have the off road package OR black line, right? So the black line does offer something more than just an appearance package. Though, I don't know how useful MTM is without the off road package. nice to have anyway

Boulder Interior
Looks like the 2023 Blackline SE will no longer have Black interior, but Boulder instead. I believe it is a new offering for Lexus as dealerships couldn’t find pictures for me when I asked for an example. I found out it’s offered on the ‘22 Tundra on select trims. It’s a light gray. Hopefully it looks good in person. Have a Nori Green coming in a few weeks.

Having a light gray interior in the “Black Line Edition” makes zero sense. Good job Lexus 🙄

I couldn’t agree more and really making me second guess getting a ‘23. I found a used ‘22 listed over MSRP for the same price as the ‘23 (both Nori) so I thought the logical choice would be to go new. But after seeing Boulder and the new taillights I’m torn. Ugh!
