What is This front plastic circle beneath headlight? Gx460
Is this one of the sensors or something? After driving home 20 hours from the dealer I bought this 2013 gx460 from, the circle on the driver side was missing, the ones on the other side and the back are still there. What piece do I need to order to replace it, and is it just as easy as popping it back in?
It's probably still hanging there under the bumper.
it is yes but the circle clip part was broken so it wouldn't stay put, a previous commenter posted a part number, got one on the way, 4.50$ and 8$ shipping. Thank you all so much. That must be for the park assist? I've never used it, but from what I understand it turns on beeping and stuff when you parallel park? I don't think it actually takes control or anything. Idk though, I haven't had time to look it up
On GX's without park assist, these are simply a range finder, it beeps and shows up on the nav screen when you get close to things in front or behind the vehicle. its pretty much required if you live in the city unless you want to apply the "Boston Bump" every time you park. But if you live in the burbs and rarely park in a garage or parallel spot its probably rarely utilized.
