I am at routine tire rotation and technician let me take a picture of my brake. Can you please help me if this is due for pad replacement? Thanks a lot!
When you're looking through that "window" in the back of the caliper, in the center you have your rotor (ventilated center section, wear surface on either side), then the brake pad (lower section is the friction material, raised section towards the outside edges that the pins ride through is the backing plate).
From those pics your pads appear to be nearly new as far as how much material is remaining.

Thank you so much. I have about 40k miles on this set of pad (dealer changed back in 2018 srping). Is this normal, I don't brake hard but this is a good surprise for me.

I’d replace these if I were you. They have about 40-50% of life left but with the way the GX460 brakes go, it becomes increasingly mushy and having to provide much force and foot travel, I’d not feel comfortable driving around town with anything less than 50% pad life.
