You would sure think, but you can't when you build it online with the U.S. website. Any of you know or have one with? Thanks much!

They're putting the 275/65R18's on tomorrow, and I pick it up Saturday morning, on 10/30. Six years to the day that I took delivery of the Miata.
Dobinsons lift ordered.

I just can't leave well enough alone. Going to try and get the materials needed for the third row delete this weekend.

Should I just go ahead and order the Victory Blitz bumper and SSO rock sliders now, or should I at least give it a little time with the new ride?

I picked up my 2022 atomic silver exactly a week ago today. It's a big change for me coming from bmw. The car is growing on me but just one thing I found very strange is that when I change gears from neutral to drive or anything into drive it feels like a big thirst occurs and the car jerks forward. I always thought that is a bad thing on transmissions and it happens over time. But this is a brand new car and every time I'm parking or maneuvering to park I notice such a big push in changing gears. Has anyone else noticed this? Should I bring it up to my dealer as this is a brand new car or is this normal for the GX? I would appreciate your guys feedback as this is my first gx and lexus in general.

Yea I get it too. It's not the smoothest tranny ever. Wait til you experience the hunting. It took me by surprise.

BTW do you feel a bit of shake coming from the engine while idling? Also do you get a tingliness or vibration through your steering and floorpan when the engine rpm is at a constant 1900 ram or so?

I have not felt anything like that car is smooth all around just the shifting of the gears into Drive is all I've noticed off about the transmission. Big truck does not have the acceleration I expected but it handles really well especially on turns the steering is amazing. Suspension is strong but can be rough at points. I live in NYC so I do a lot of city driving but I got this car for space and reliability and it's doing that well so far. Drives well in the rain I'm expecting it to be solid in the winter and for any weather.

My rig is just smooth, smooth, smooth all the time. It’s 10 months old and I still am happy with how quiet and cush this thing rides and drives. I have never experienced the tranny hunting that was previously described. Maybe on ultra steep grades?

no rumbling or anything from the engine, exhaust and etc? I did test a 2021 just to see and it has what I am feeling. I'm starting to think its the exhaust, maybe its freer flowing than my 2018. I do notice the 2022 is more responsive than my 2018, maybe at the cost of a bit of refinement.

No sir, nothing like you describe from my 2021. And I do drive it hard, put it through it's paces doing 85-90 on these Texas tolls.

Our 21 is smooth and nothing like you describe there, I would expect a Lexus to be near perfect compared to others, like my company car 19 Explorer I have vibrations and strange sounds, but I don't care as its not my personnel car and would not recommend anyone to purchase an Explorer, only lease.

Nope, I bought it from a Nissan Dealer.

Does/can Lexus certify models back that far?

Yep. I believe extends to 6 model years back (so 2015 should be included), and less than 80k on odometer. I have bought my last three Lexus as CPO with 6 years on them. That for me has been a sweet spot - where the price is lowest and the warranty is more likely to be needed to mitigate any issues that can popup in the later years of any car.

My advice ... never buy a car when you need a car because if you do, you will not be the one in control.

Hmmm... that's an interesting way to look at it. I would never buy a car if I didn't need one. If one spent his/her money on impulse, I could argue that you would not be the one in control either. Haha. I think buying a car doesn't need to be complicated. Just go in after doing all of your homework and don't let emotions get in the way, keep your head on straight.
