We had been trying to track down and reserve a '22 GX here locally but couldn't get the right colors/options. Production cuts and overall demand added some difficulty as well. Finally found a perfect fit allocated to a dealer just one state over and put down a deposit! Price will be MSRP plus any applicable incentives at time of pickup which seems to be pretty standard in the Pacific Northwest. Excited to get into our GX in the next month or two!

Nice! My sales guy in Houston said their allocation this week only had Ecru interiors, which I don’t want. He said they’ll get another allocation in 10 days so hopefully they’ll have other interior colors. Can’t wait!

I just spoke with my dealer in NJ. FOR 2022 GX Lux version. For lease hey quoted me $750 monthly payments with 20k deposit.

I think I will either wait or look somewhere else.

20k deposit? Did u mean 2k? 20k is essentially 99% of the lease already.

One of the Lexus dealers in Houston informed me “…all of their first shipment 2022 GXs are now reserved.” A “preference” request to Lexus would be required to get a specific color, configuration and there is no guarantee that Lexus will honor the “preference” request - $2000 is required by the dealer to submit a “preference.” No markup over MSRP from this dealer.

Default Can anyone help me find out what vessel my new GX is on?

Lexus corporate says to talk to my dealer, however, my dealer has no idea where to look and haven't found anyone to help them figure it out.

I have the VIN and it was supposed to be loaded on the ship in Japan on 9/4 with an arrival date at the port of 9/24 but that's all I know. The person I got that information from was on a forum but he hasn't been able to get me an update and I doubt I'll get anything more from him.

Any help would be appreciated!

I sent him an email to see what he says...thanks!

I'm thinking that all of the threads I've seen about other Toyota vehicles where they said the Vehicle Inquiry Report would have the vessel name must no longer be available.

I told my dealer not to worry about looking anymore as I can hopefully figure it out with the port arrival date.

With all of the tracking information available for items bought, I see how it sucks to not know the status of your order.

Built and imported with this though.

Default 22 GX High Lease numbers in Socal

I visited two area Lexus Dealers here in SoCal and called another over the weekend; saw a Black Line in white that was already sold at Keyes Lexus sales person was nice enough to let me look inside while they were preparing for delivery, I went to another dealer Woodland Hills Lexus and they ran numbers on a GX that they had coming into the dealer and the lease numbers were insane. $900- 1K on a 36 month lease at sticker which didn't make any sense. I know the market is rough but thats way too high. I called Longo Lexus and they were quoting around the same which is crazy sales guy told me its not a good time to buy. I uploaded the numbers the dealer quoted me over the weekend. Anyone lease the 22 GX curious if the payments were resaonable giving the market conditions

Do you know the money factor and residual value?
Your pic shows a selling price around $3000 higher than MSRP.

See that’s the issue the dealer never provided me the money factor or the residual value when I asked which is also another negative sign. I have a current lease with Lexus so I know how the process goes. This was my first time dealing with this particular dealer.

I attached the V spec page from the dealer they stated it wasn’t mark up but they added their extra dealer items like leather protection and stuff that I’m not interested in. Even at MSRP the number still are off I used Lease Hackr and my numbers came out different. The dealer didn’t provide me with the residual or the money factor.
