Default Blackout tail-lights?

Anyone has a recommendation for some blackout tail-lights that are compatible with my 2018 GX460. Picture of it below. Thanks!

Sorry ... but WTF do you want to do this. You must hate your family ... vanity over safety? ... seriously? ... think about it.

You can still see the brake lights being turned on with a blackout dome.

... with "see" being the operative word. Anything that filters light reduces the lumen output ... so you can live with the consequence on how that does not reduce safety.

No need to shame call someone or ridicule desires to modify their truck here.

No shame ... just safety involved here.

Yeah.... If there is one thing we have learned in 2021 it's that people feel entitled to shriek and shame others because..... . "Safety"

Guy wants to darken his tail light lenses and gets accused of being so vain that he hates his family and doesn't care if they all die because it's more important that his taillights are 9% darker that ASE wants them to be.

Then when called on it "that's not shame, I'm talking about safety"

SMH. Nice

He's not talking about making them opaque FFS

Jeeze

Spray them with lens tent and replace the bulbs with LEDs that are brighter than the OEM bulbs. Easy peasy and noone here will lose sleep worrying about your SAFETY. The tail lights remove easily. YouTube GX Bob on YouTube. Good and funny resource.

ASE exit this thread. You can disagree and dislike things without making it personal. Keep it constructive and mature.

I just want to point out is isn’t about the safety of the OP but my family and any of the OP’s passengers. If I cannot legit see your brake lights during the day you WILL be rear ended—and no you cannot see them what-so-ever. Why not smoke them out a bit and get a nice compromise? Or you could black them out but also put on a set of black rock lights that have red light output to also act as additional brake lights which shouldn't interfere with the aesthetic much. Also I believe blacking out tail lenses isn’t DOT legal either but that’s your choice to make. I’m all for personal choice, you just need to know if you’re rear ended or get a ticket you’ll know why and hopefully no one gets injured or killed.

Just sone friendly information and a constructive suggestion with no personal attacks or derogatory intention.
