Lexus via twitter sent me an update that hitch should be available mid to late August. Who knows how accurate that is.

Based off of all of the times that it's been pushed back so far I wouldn't bet on it being available this month. I can't even find the new part # for the redesigned hitch at this point.

I'm glad you found one!!! The 2020 hitch should be just fine on your 2022. Do they have more of them

It sounds right considering it's now available as an option on the 2023 build sheet.

According to Lexus’s advertising the hitch has been available this whole time so I have little faith in their advertising or what they say.

when I can have one delivered to my door I’ll believe it’s available.

Went to Bergstrom Lexus yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation - asked them about the C4 hitch. Parts department said they were told August for the replacement but still hadn’t seen anything (or heard anything more from Lexus).

This voicemail was just left by someone from Toyota headquarters for me:

”I just wanted to give you some information that we are working on getting those out to the dealers and they should be available in the middle of September for the dealership to order”

The can has been kicked down the road yet again…ugh.

ETA: I just spoke with Chris and he’s in direct contact with the person responsible for the new hitch production. The new part # is PT22860141 for anyone wondering.

Lexus released the 23 GX builder on their website, I thought everyone would get a kick out of this one... The trailer ball also states the same "see a dealer for pricing". I'm surprised, but also not very since they're a whole production year after this mess started and still showing it's an option you can get on the GX. Except we all know it's not available at all...

I'm told that might not be a valid part number for the new hitch. We should see soon enough whether or not that is the case.

Default Any news on tow bar package for GX460

I bought a 460 in June, specifically to use for towing. As many of you know the frame on tow bar was not available and has not been available for quite some time. Supposed “supply chain” issues. The dealer indicated that the parts would be available in August. Has anyone heard anything?

No aftermarket class-IV's available?

I would perhaps go to a fab shop to have a IV+ made up.
