I called 3 of my local steelerships,
one of them quoted 632.50 + tax
another quoted 786 including tax
and finally one quoted 575 plus tax.

seems like the going number might be 575... please dont let any of them add dealer markup...
i went ahead with the 575 one and they have to order it. told me to call him back on friday if i dont hear from them.

annoyed i left the hitch on my 2020 trade, that was bought and installed myself for ~275ish.. damn infotainment and premium plus ML got me..

When I bought both my Lexus hitches I ordered them and had them installed from my Toyota dealer. For some reason it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than Lexus dealer. I never figured out why, but I didn't argue about it LOL. Exact same hitch...just says Toyota on the box.

I just checked today after monitoring this thread for months. First dealership didn't have any, second didn't either, but then called me back saying they did indeed have two in stock. $575, going to finally pick it up this evening.

I will say, mine didn't come with printed instructions. It should be the same as a 2014+ version that I can find elsewhere online, right?

Lexus of Wichita has one that's not spoken for, however, they won't ship it even though their website says free shipping over $100.

I guess I'll wait to see if that dealership from AZ actually calls me back next week.

My hitch was installed today by Northside Lexus in Houston. I asked them to take some pictures of the installation and have attached them here. The part number is definitely: PT228-6041.
