Looks like a tow hook installed upside down 😜. But this is exactly I need. I installed the Curt Hitch with no intention to two anything. It is simply a warning to the driver behind me, stay away from my butt. I do have a pickup truck for towing though.

Yes correct it's a hitch slider designed to protect the tow hitch receiver, with a recovery point. From 41.22. It is pricey but a hefty piece of metal and you can get them on sale off their website (Email them first to see if they'll provide you with a coupon or just wait for the sale, if you can). Comes in several colors as well. Not affiliated with them but I do like their products.

I'm curious now why I'd get a call from parts saying my payment was voided. Makes me wonder if they are prioritizing putting hitches on new cars to close deals over existing customers that placed orders. Horrible customer experience.

Ordered mine from Bell Lexus last Monday. It arrived Thursday. Free shipping. Local Lexus dealer wanted $150 more than Bell Lexus and local dealer had a waiting list.
Installed my hitch today. Took about 2 hours taking my time. Some tips for those up to the challenge.
1) Get the Exhaust hanger tool. It makes removal and re-installation minutes to complete. This is the one I got.
2) I used the spare tire as a spacer to hold the hitch closer to the truck, then just pushed it up against the frame and started the main bolts on each side. Once those are in, the rest is easy.

Like a kid on Christmas, Just got the call my hitch is in and ready for pickup. Thank you for this thread in keeping everyone up to date.
I had placed the order for the old P/N back in November 2021 with our local Lexus dealer and wouldn't let them cancel my order. I think they finally got tired of it hanging in their system so they really pushed to get me the new part number once it became available.

Recieved My Hitch
Hey Guys,
I just recieved my hitch today from my local dealer. Don't let them try to charge you the "$730" the price should be no more than $580 and technically they can get it down to $494. The dealers can order them. https://parts.lexus.com/p/Lexus_2022...T22860141.html

I bought a hitch from the dealer for $575 on Saturday when I had my 2023 Blackline in for service. I told the parts guy I would install it myself, and asked him to load it into the vehicle. When I got it home, I found someone had broken into the box and took the directions. So I called the parts guy and he emailed the directions to me. DM me if you need the directions... Directions should be attached to the post... I also ordered the cheapest
- worked perfectly.
It took me 3 hours today to install it. I worked alone and used my motorcycle jack to lift the heavy hitch into place, with a couple buckets and pieces of wood to tilt it into place. I put anti-seize on all the fasteners, so I reduced the torque specs by 10% to avoid thread damage from over-torque. The hitch fit perfectly. Satisfied with the results. I also took the opportunity to clean and ceramic coat the spare.

Anyone in Canada get one of these yet? My Lexus dealer keeps telling me they can see the new part number but can't order it in Lexus Canada's system yet? But they have screwed up a few orders on me before so I'm suspicious...
