The sensors will go off on the passenger side often when you are passing a steel post such as stop signs depending on how close you are and how thick it is.
My opinion on why it only occurs on the passenger side most of the time is because we drive on the right hand side of the road which places us in closer proximity to the posts compared to the driver's side sensors.
I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

"Check BSM System" Error
Hi, everyone-
This morning when I started the GX, I got an error on the dash that said "Check BSM System" along with the illuminated yellow warning triangle light. When I turn the system off using the steering wheel controls, the yellow triangle goes away but then comes back when I reactivate the system. When reactivating the system, the blind spot warning light on the driver side mirror illuminates. The passenger side does not light up. Any ideas?

Manual says you either have a malfunctioning LH side sensor or a "Blind Spot Monitor Beam Axis Confirmation" needs to be performed via TechStream

If you don't have a TS install setup... you might want to try out OBD Fusion/Link. Only ECU so far I have found it doesn't pull PIDs from is the one for KDSS. Not sure on BSM as I don't have that one (not present on 10-13 models)

I do have TS and thank you for the suggestion. I’m not sure how or why, but after a few short trips, the error message has gone away. If it happens again, I’ll definitely boot up TechStream

IIRC... it should still show up in TS as a historical code

BSM not working. No warning
Recently my bsm light on the right mirror would stay on for long periods of time. I noticed a few days ago that it's not working at all anymore. I've cleaned the sensors. Any recommendations on what to do next? I have a GX460 2018 with less then 25,000 miles.
