Question Nearing end of Factory Warranty - Any last min check up ?

Hi all..

Almost at the end of the OEM warranty ( ~49,700 miles ), and wondering if I should have the dealer check anything ?

The only issue I have right now is some squeak from the front passenger seat ( I think ) when going over bumps..and it's driving me crazy because I just can't zero in!!

Thanks

check this thread and the video, but from the top of my head:

coolant valley leak
timing chain cover leak
oil in the spark plugs
i see you have a '18, has the fuel pump tsb been completed along with the secondary air pump tsb.

thats all i can think of right now, all the best!

Does it make sense to go to an independent shop let them know the warranty is almost done and pay them to give it a look over for you to bring the dealer or you think the dealer is the best place to get the final inspection before the warranty expires?

The powertrain warranty is still good and that covers the heavy hitters to the wallet. Keep calm and carry on with the squeak.

Thanks!

I checked for the fuel pump and secondary air tsbs and doesn't apply to my VIN ( DOB 08/2018 ). For the secondary air pump, I already replaced the damn foam with a K&N attachment.

*Update* The Dealer wants to charge $50 for a visual multi-point inspection!!

$50 isn’t really all that bad of a price unless it isn’t the same multipoint inspection they give fresh trade-ins then it’s meh.
