GX- -64.7 / 46.7 / 11.6 cu ft
LX- -64 cu ft / 44 cu ft / —
(they show "--" for cargo volume behind third row seats for the LX.)

The data above and below are copy/paste from the Lexus website. It can't be smaller? The interior dimensions for the LX are definitely larger.

e.g. Shoulder room (front row/second row/third row)
LX- - 61.4 / 58.8 / 56.1 in
GX- - 55.4 / 57.3 / 54.5 in
Maybe some of our experts can decipher the info.

By the way, have you taken a look at the "cargo volume" behind the third row seats (and how they fold down!) on the new Sequioa? You gotta look at their pictures to fully appreciate how funky that setup is. 2023 Toyota Sequoia - Toyota USA Newsroom

Think I'll hold on to my GX's for a while.

Are the interior specs between the LX 570 and the LX 600 that much different? Is the LX 600 that much roomier? Are you hoping the next gen GX will be roomier than the current gen GX?

Check out CFAI's link above. It covers every dimension. And no, I don't think there's going to be much difference on the interior dimensions in the GX550. (or whatever it turns out to be.)

I did. I'm just confused as to why the difference between the current GX and the new LX, when it comes to interior gains, confirms that waiting for the next GX is the right thing. I think you misread my question? It's ok. Never mind. I was just curious, that's all.

I've seen on a couple other sites discussion that there may not be a '23, and that the '24 will be released early next year. If true, wouldn't we see some spy shots on this, or at least the Prado twin?

In EU they have just released a Prado Matte Black edition, could indicate a last hooray before the next gen Prado/GX

I had previously stated that I was jonesing for a new LX and one of the redesigned GX 550's (?) OR two of the final model year GX's. After seeing the info on the interior space, I've pretty much given up on the LX.

Also, to answer one of your questions from an earlier post, I doubt that there's going to be any appreciable difference in the size of the redesigned GX. (Interior or exterior.) I want to see what the new GX is actually going to be. Will the 3.5L V6 have a single turbo, or twins? How de-tuned from the LX will it be? Will it be configured exactly like the Tundra engine? I will very likely end up with two GX's, as noted above.
(Sorry Seanzky, I forgot to originally quote your question.)

So far not seeing anything documentation-wise noteworthy between 2022 and 2023. I was told rumor surround cameras may come to Black Line trim. Not sure if they plan to offer up Crawl and MTS as well.

I’d be kind of bummed if I didn’t get Crawl Control or MTS for the ‘22 but the ‘23 has it. If that happens then I guess oh well though as I don’t really need them either.

I’m rather “meh” on the cameras but I wish you could view the backup camera at any time to check trailer loads.

Do they still list the Class IV hitch which doesn’t exist?

Time to call Lexus again and pressure them about the lack of a hitch.

ETA: Another call to Lexus with no useful information...I'm shocked

Seems like every 23 Lexus but the GX will have wireless smartphone connection and touchpad removed.
Same story on the Toyota side were most 23MY will have updated tech but the Tacoma and 4Runner.

I'm not surprised since both of those models are due for a redesign with the 2024 MY.
