Is there a way to bypass all of that? the radio and or other electronics should remain on until you open the door, not when you turn off the engine. When you sit at the train crossing and just want to listen to the radio without burning precious fuel it is annoying to keep turning the ignition off and on.

the “hack” I’ve discovered is to turn off you GX while it is still in gear (e.g. “D”) or in Neutral. The radio will stay on (in accessory mode). It will remain in accessory mode for several minutes before going to sleep, if I recall. Kind off a work around, but it gets the job done.
