Wanted to follow up and say I really appreciate the info. I received the crossbars yesterday - the entire experience from purchase to installation was seamless.
Just lurking, are these the raised rails on Blackline? I’m looking to see if I can buy them for my Lux package and slap on. How about the Blackline crossbars?

Blackline raised rails are the same as TOYOTA Landcuiser Prado 150 rails. This is what I copied from the thread.
Here are the parts list for you to get the raised Prado / blackline rails. I didn’t want to drop that kind of $ so I got a set from Amazon ($300 with all the parts). I carry 4-6 whitewater kayaks and have zero problems with mine.

this is my rig and what the rails look like.
Sweet thanks for the response. They look great.. how’s load capacity? I’m currently running Yakima Skyline towers with their HD bars. The bars supposedly carry 500lbs with 2, thinking of adding another tbh. If I grab these and add my HD bars, how is capacity then measured? Is it more? Thanks!
ALEXDEV------ Surprised you said 500lb. I thought the yakima skyline towers load is 165lb? I use Thule Square Crossbars and wrapped the front bar with paracord to eliminate the sound driving on highway. With my kayak stackers I get about 4-6 kayaks MAX. So the most weight I've had on them are 350lb on short trips. Regularly 250lb going 70mph -80mph.
I personally would not put RTT on these rails as they're really not designed for it.
Hope this helps

Curious what your concern is with the RTT? I've not mounted my RTT yet on my blackline bars, but the RTT certainly weighs less than 200lbs (much less than the kayaks).

To be completely honest I haven't jumped into RTT rabbit hole :-) I'm speaking from ignorance thinking they would weight more. I'm just used to sleeping in the rig next to some river and saving the top of my GX for carrying WW Kayaks.

Thanks for the response. I've previously had the RTT mounted on a rhino rack platform and prinsu rack. Both were solid installs, but the factory bars just are not as easy so wanted to make sure you didn't have a bad experience.
I liked the idea of the cross bars from the Black Line, but after pricing it out, I'm leaning toward a full roof rack.
I knew what I was carrying, also Thule and Yakama crossbars work really well with raised rails which I already have. That was my rationale. Full Roof Rack doesn't work as well for my application. Good luck.

hi there! That’s exactly what I’m looking for. Do you have the Amazon link by any chance? Did they have 6 connection points and the trim to fill in the void? Thanks!
From what I understand, but haven't physically tried, is that the GX470 roof rails (which are elevated like the Blackline) will fit the GX460. Remove the factory flush mount and replace with the GX470 rails. After more research it has been determined they do not work. Darn

Based on all my research the 470 rails 100% don't work with a 460. I could be wrong. Major design flaw on the 460 not having an easy raised rail option...
Do you have the amazon link to the raised rails? Im finding a few and wanted to go with one that someone has used. Thanks!
this is what I got. No major issues. Over all I’m pleased considering the price and the partial refund for crossbars I wasn’t planning on using.
I re-used the original Bolts from my GX not the bolts from the rack. I also used Permatex silicone windshield glass sealer in the bolt holes to water proof it. Good luck
This is what I got. The crossbars didn’t fit and they refunded me $$. That was added bonus as I wasn’t planning on using them anyways.

I did a deep dive as well and no it doesn’t work. 5th Gen 4Runner doesn’t work well either. Only 3 out of 6 bolt holes are used on each side.
