An internal rear door release button would be useful as well.

Never tried until now, The fob will relase the rear window while in the GX460.

Default Slept inside for years with 2 Harbor Freight blankets

I slept for 3 years inside my 2016 GX460 laying down 2 Harbor Freight blankets to level the surface. It was very comfy.

How come you don't just get one of those camper tent thing that the 4runners usually have and also do you the car on while you sleep for ac or what do you do because doesn't it get hot inside

I have some shades like these for all windows and I made one for sun roof opening:
Amazon Amazon

Make sure you check your windows size as it was hard for me to find the ones large enough. Then bring a small portable battery operated fan and hook it up so it pulls the air out. I get very comfy sleeping inside even during hot months.

The button for the rear window release on the fob works.

Thanks for posting this! It's actually less of a height distance than I thought. Does that second row seat lay completely flat, or at a slant/diagonal?

its slightly up at the top, the pic is a little sideways, the triangle was flat on the back area. probably the second row can go flat with some weight on the back when the cushions squish

Thank you John00. This is super helpful! I actually just bought my GX 460 on Sunday and will be picking it up this weekend. Can't wait to bring it camping!

I put a washable mattress in my van, it's much comfortable and easy to carry and washable, I purchased it from Nest Bedding Coupons, and really its much comfortable. I recommend you to use once it.
