••• 3D Printing and GX 460 parts
Surely many in this group have 3D printers... I finally decided to dive into one.
I've been playing around with a new Prusa Mini+ manufactured in the Czech Republic.
I hadn't heard of of Prusa before but frankly wasn't in the market for a 3D printer.. a friend turned me onto them.
I've got a lot to learn but just having fun printing some random stuff out.
I thought it may be good to start up a thread for parts developed specifically for our rigs.
I'd like print out a few 460 models I have seen.

I saw the awning bracket project here.. I'll have to look back in threads to see if this was done by a CL member or not.

I have two 3D printers and print parts for my business.
You will love it, I have had 3D printers for 5 years now, I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to have an idea, design it and then create it. The added benefit is that the printer is as mesmerizing to watch as a campfire. The Prusa is a solid machine.
I have just designed and am testing a cell phone mounting system that allows quick removal of the phone & brackets and keeps the holder base concealed in the front console tray still allowing the lid to close.

Wife has 10 of these printers, bought them cheap and she runs several at a time making different things for her craft needs. Got her working on a GX460 print now, we will see how it turns out. My son got into 3D printing and also has a 3D resin printer which is pretty cool. He mainly does roleplaying figures with it.
Guess we need to see what else could be made to benefit the GX460...

Printing one of the GX models that Acrad posted... might be here awhile though.

I really suggest using a PEI build plate, since I have (over 2 years ago) I have never had issues with prints not sticking.
90% of my printing is with PETG, the remaining is ASA, TPU, and ...
This is my "workhorse" the print quality and reliability is so impressive.

I'm pretty sure this is the same case used for 10-19 460 grill cameras. I purchased one from another '12 for cheap..for a future project but the case around camera had a crack in it. Gonna print and see if direct fit.

I did a scratch print of the camera cover in PETG. Only difference I notice is it doesn't have the partial lense cover that stock one has. I assume this is for the sun. It fits fine on the camera. I need to clean up supports.
I need to see if these engine cover retainer clips work on the 460

Thanks @Nyccandyma , it is working great. Mount is solid and the entire RAM mount assembly easily slips in and out.
When removed the front storage lid opens & closed no problem. I will post some pictures
