Use the app OfferUp, you'd be amazed how many people are selling their base stock rims for cheap. I would not buy new from a dealer, but you do run a risk of getting like an imperfect rim. So inspect carefully.
I'm also in the camp of usually wanting the smallest factory rim. Better ride quality and cheaper tires.

i like the softer, maybe more spongy ride.
other are exact opposite and will say better is less sidewall, tighter response, more road feel, etc.
id rather drive the moon patrol vehicle than a sport bmw or viper.
