I guess I'm in the minority, preferring the Base GX OEM brighter 18" alloy wheels over the dark gray wheels. Problem is, doing a search, it looks like all of the 2023 GX Premiums coming over have the dark gray wheels.

Local Lexus dealer says those brighter wheels are $563.17!!! Given the F Sport wheels are less than $300, this seems very weird.

Is there something special about the brighter wheels?



Does anyone know who makes these Lexus wheels?

Is there a reliable distributor for them other than Lexus (only looking for new...). Thanks.

Why new? Plenty of guys ditch these for 17"s pretty quickly after buying the truck and can be had super cheap secondhand in perfect condition.

I bought new 18" silver split 6 spoke for my winter tires, unfortunately up here in Canada there are so few GX 460's that used wheels or dealer take-offs don't exist.
BTW the centre caps were not included with the wheels when I bought them, had to add them at extra cost.

There are many shades of silver in these wheels, and bright silver is the most common so they are the most available. You should be able to find the takeoffs on eBay for no more than $800-$1000. I bought a set of bright silver takeoff off eBay about 5 years ago for $700. I personally like the hyper silver color so bought a set of hyper silver later for $800 and sold the bright silver set.

I found a set here in Colorado. All 4 for 595, TPMS and tires. Great deal if you can get them from here.

Thanks for all of the replies, ideas, offers to swap, etc.. To clarify, I don't have my GX yet -- dealer is searching for one with spec's I want. Swapping out the wheels (and likely tires) will be the first thing I do. Just starting the process now so I'll be ready.

detroit wheel should have some of those. that place takes in old ones, refinishes them.

I have the graphite wheels (kind of in the middle between black and regular ones) and look great. I would swap for darker ones if you are interested, but located in Seattle area.
