It is fun but I'd never do mud again 😂.
It's a 5 min fun and 3 weeks to clean up. That crap got in everywhere and dried up and fell on your face when you worked under the truck. Lol.

To be honest... what little I have done is with the Wrangler and it can stay dirty :-) No plans to take GX there.. it will however experience rough & rocky off-road. Also no deep water crossings for me.

Default Tire replacement

I have a 2014 GX460 that will need to have the tires replaced soon. Do you need to replace/rebuild the TPMS sensor when you put on new tires (same size, same type)? The problem is I live 150 miles from the nearest Lexus dealer. Can Toyota program the car?

Thanks,

Not sure on the rebuild piece... surely others who deal more with tires know. The 10 year old TPMS sensors in my G35x are still going strong. Any tire shop should be able to reprogram the TPMS piece. I'm learning there are even some home reset methods with the correct software/hardware and knowledge of the TPMS codes. Kinda off topic... but I was reading where if you find out these codes you can then have a company program another set with identical code strings and then when seasonal changes occur you don't have to reset TPMS.

If you goto discount tire they rebuild your tpms for free even if your not getting any work done. But since ur not changing the rims I don't think rebuilding them would be necessary. Btw what tires are you getting brand/price. I'm in the process of getting them too.

I just went to NTB to have our alignment checked and was informed of a promo that started on Saturday. Nitto Crosstek SUV (P265/60R18) with a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty for $157. Wait for it....buy two get two free!

You must opt for their Value Installation Package ($269) that includes an alignment (with one year warranty), road hazard, etc., etc.

I have a quote for $645 "out the door" (taxes, disposal fees, alignment, etc.). The only problem I have, is that I cannot locate any reviews of the Nitto Crosstek. I'd hate to buy something that didn't give me the ride/comfort I am looking for. But damn, $645 TOTAL?!

If you want bigger size 275/65/18, they have the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 for $151, also B2G2.
Out the door price for me is $657 with 1yr alignment and road hazzard.
The tire is very quite. It rub a little when turning into curve driveway.

Default 2017 Wheels fit 2011 GX460?

Trying to sell my 2017 OEM Wheels after replacing them with the F Sports and the question came up as to whether these will fit a 2011? My initial reaction is no. Also... is it the bolt patter I should be looking at to see whether they will fit? Both years were 18 inch wheels.

The bolt pattern is the same with 2010-2017. The wheel size does not matter.
