I also installed the mts control in our ‘19. It took about 40 minutes. Some of my panels were pretty hard to remove.

The lack of traffic in my area will get me into trouble.

Installed an ARB Twin Compressor. Added some big battery distribution blocks to accommodate this and a future winch.

@klinquist
are you going to be running lockers? Ive always wanted to get an ARB compressor but I would only use it to pump up tires.

Nope, this will only be used for tires (mostly re-inflating after airing down for offroad & snow). I also haul a dirt bike around and am constantly using an air compressor to air that up & down, so this will be nice.

The best locker solution for our trucks seems to be the Hadoop e-locker, not an air locker.

Then there’s hope for me! I think I remember someone saying they can run some air tools with the dual compressor as well. It’s hard to justify the arb price since I bought one of those amazon basic compressors that’s looks exactly like a viair clone.

have you thought about the wifey system?

Yep, way too much money - and failure points - to avoid having to carry a hose.

I like my exhaust system but it is run over the rear axle and I lost the spare tire. Any significant weight is causing a clunk with minor bumps.

This weekend I...

* Dremeled out the OEM fog light holes and stuck some Baja Designs S1s in there.

* Installed a fire extinguisher using a bracket I found on eBay that says it fit the 5th gen 4R/FJ Cruiser.

* Replced the center shift panel - mine was scratched to hell when I bought the car and it bugged me.

@klinquist
Do you have a link or any more info on that fire extinguisher bracket? How's the clearance between the person sitting and the extinguisher handle?

Passenger leg clearance is fine.
This does limit the forward slide of the seat a bit.

I added some Amazon purchased cross bars today. Seems fairly sturdy as I put them on the floor and stood on them @212lbs.

Installed the OEM 'sport design' smoked tail lights.
I was thinking of buying the fancy ones from Dubai, but after reading about the gap at the bottom... and moisture getting inside of them... decided OEM was the way to go.
