Default 2013 gx460

Here are a few pictures of my '13 460 that I have been building over the last few years.

Here it is the day we brought it home.

One of the first things I did was run 4 gauge power to a fues block in the back so I could mount my fridge that we used in my jeep. I bought the dometic slide and mounted it to a piece of plywood so I can remove it when we are not using it. We do use the passenger 3rd row seat on long trips for one of the kids to sit back there so all three are not packed into the middle row.

I then added the Rhino Rack pioneer for carrying our gear when we dont pull the trailer.

I picked up a set of SSO sliders around thanksgiving and had them powder coated to match.

I added a baja designs 30" OnX6 under the rack and Baja Designs S2 sports on the side. These put out an insane amount of light.

The next project was to install a hidden winch under the factory bumper. I went with the Budbuilt mount, it took some modifications to get it to work but I was able to fit a Warn Zeon 10S platinum.

A few months after I installed the hidden winch I hit a deer on the way to our cabin up in Oklahoma. Shortly after Metal Tech did a group buy on bumpers. So I went a head and picked up both front and rear. I barley had time to install the rear before our trip up to the San Juans in Colorado. I also picked up a full Dobinson lift and plan on installing that here real soon as well. I will update with more photos once I get the front bumper and Lift installed.

Let us know how the Dobinsons MRR work for you. I’ve been trying to read up on them but they seem fairly new stateside. But the response has been positive for the reviews I’ve read.

Does the rhino rack come with a wind fairing? I’d like to see gobi or Baja racks interpretation....

Dobinson MRR will be going in this weekend, and hope to get the Metal Tech front bumper installed if I have enough time. Ordered a set of RCI skids they should be here in about 8 weeks. Looking forward to making some more progress in this build.

I think the rest of my Budbuilt skids will be here in about a month.

I got the front bumper and suspension installed this past weekend. I will post up some more pictures this coming weekend, but here are few teasers.

HitchCrack: Did you get any AFS error messages when you pulled off your stock suspension? Or did you leave the height sensors in place?

I did get the AFS OFF message. I didn't remove any sensors so I am digging into that now. I found what I think is the sensor linked to the AFS on the upper trailing arm on the driver side. I will let you know what I come up with to resolve this.
