I'm not surprise with Toyota quality but I didn't expect to see a Mazda up there. Where are Honda? Besides the engine mount issues due to VCM, my Odyssey is rock solid.

I had a 2015 accord with tons of issues. Door rattle within 1 month. My 20 year old 4runner had zero rattles. The accord was also eating oil and had a recall to replace something with the battery terminal. The quality has gone down from my experience. The jalopnik article lists some of the things wrong with odysseys too.

Wife was trying to push me into an odyssey, since her cr-v has been 100% solid for 150k miles.... I wanted a gx 460... I was very close to losing the battle....the 2nd row seats in an odyssey was very impressive.
side note....why dont we have SUVs with sliding doors?

Mazda doesn't have the refinement of Toyota but seems to have upped the bar on reliability after parting ways with Ford in the last 5 years.

I have a 2015 Honda Odyssey with 70k miles. It has a few small issues. Beside the engine mount issue, the sliding door wouldn't close fully if parked on any slope. The 2nd row seats' slider is not working properly, one of the seat also doesn't fold all the way. The suspension for some reason felt worn out too, probably some bushing need replacing. I bought the car brand new and 95% of my miles are on smooth highway.
