Default Charger port stopped working

So my front panel cigarette charger port by the USB ports stopped working for last couple of days. It doesn't charge my phone any more. I checked with different chargers but same issue. Is this a blown fuse case? Anybody knows which one I need to check in the fuse box under the hood before I start pulling each one? Thanks in advance.

Does the USB still work? I believe they share the same fuse. I had a problem where mine didn’t work when I bought my truck used. Couldn’t figure it out and then I had my passengers side airbag inflater replaced by dealership and got it back and it worked. It must have been unplugged from underneath and when the airbag repair was complete it was most likely plugged back in. Could be a lose connection.

Yes, the USB ports are working fine and does charge my phone. That is weird. The port was working fine until last week. I tried separate chargers and none of them works any more. My GX is under full factory warranty so wondering if Lexus would fix this for free.

If it is the port itself not incredibly hard to replace or expensive.

Does it look like a blown up fuse? It seems bad to me. So, if thats the case, where do I get a replacement?

looks like a bad fuse, if you want it now, car parts store or if you fancy a upcharge Lexus. IF you can wait, order it off RA or Amazon. Just make sure you figure out the amp and type listed. My other question is why is that fuse so rusty? Any water intrusion or is that normal?

3 spares and a fuse puller under the hood.

Hmm, not sure why it is rusted. I didnt event notice the rust until I took pictures.

Made a trip to the local AutoZone and purchased a pack of 5 same fuses for 2.99$. Replaced the fuse and everything working fine now.

Dang! Wish I saw your post before I bought a set of five. But thanks a lot for your help and replies. I was thinking of taking it to Lexus dealership to have this simple fix. Saves me hassle and not to mention the satisfaction I get to fix something by myself is immense. This forum is great.

Default 2018 Front Cig Lighter/Power port not functioning

Hey, I just picked up a 2018 GX 460 today and didn't realize until I left the dealer the power port wasnt working in the front. I am assuming this is a fuse issue (I hope) and not a bigger issue. Where is the panel on the 18's and does anyone know the number fuse? Thank you in advance! LOVE this beast already.

For that, the fuse is above the parking brake under the dash. The main fuse box is under the hood.

This place is as awesome as I remember. Just picked up a new to me 21 Premium and on the way home noticed the charge port wasn't working. Still under warranty so I scheduled an appointment. Cancelled after seeing this thread. All good now! 🙂
